Been involved in some more script development for two different projects which is very exciting - love being in at the start!

'A Primera Vista' has been selected for the First-Time Filmmakers Showcase Online 2018! 

Rare Birds - July 2018

In final week of rehearsals for 'Rare Birds' with the Soothside Radicles. This production tells the story of Helen Macfarlane, the daughter of a wealthy Barrhead mill owner who translated Marx' communist manifesto into English and whom Marx himself admired as 'Rara Avis' (Rare Bird).  I take the roles of Francis Proust and Archie Asher. ***UPDATE*** Performances were really well received and we are looking to perform these again in the Autumn.
 

The Doll Doctor - May 2018

Performances were very well received and a few people commented we should take it on tour. I've updated the Performance Images with a few production photos.

2018 Glasgow Southside Fringe Festival

Excited to start rehearsals for The Doll Doctor. Great to be working with fellow ACS graduate Molly Crighton once again in this new production at Govanhill Theatre. Translated from the Welsh play 'Saer Doliau' by Gwenlyn Parry it is the English language premier.

Continuing Professional Development

Been a really enjoyable year to date with one thing or another. Great to meet up and collaborate with fellow ACS grads. I've also been working on various skills including passing my driving test, joining workshops such as Craft (In Motion Theatre Co) and Scottish Screenwriters and taking part in #Showreelshareday. Plus I have enjoyed seeing a few student productions at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and professional productions including Rita, Sue and Bob Too and Lemons, Lemons, Lemons at the Citz. Various things in the pipeline and some exciting news to reveal soon - watch this space!

A Primera Vista Selected for Film Festival 2018

Delighted that our musical has been selected for the Short and Sweet Film Festival 2018. Great team to work with and so pleased our work will be seen in this festival in the USA.

Have enjoyed various auditions - first calls, workshops, recalls, monologues, self-tapes, script readings, scenarios, skype.

Had a number of successful castings plus a few near misses (disappointing but maybe the chance to work together on future projects).

Meeting interesting, creative people; the reality of an actor's life. 

Release of Film - Summer 2017

I am really pleased with the release of 'Ineffable'. What a pleasure to work on such a great project and looking forward to more collaborations with Albert Lucas in the future.

Invitation to audition and cast in a new short film - May 2017

Thanks to @CastingCallPro I was cast in another short film and had a great time filming 'Bear Hunt' on the island of Arran. 

Back in Glasgow and just recorded a song for the soundtrack of the musical film project with Patrick Rooney.

Looking forward to an exciting showcase. Several performances including opening the live performance with a monologue 'Posh'; action short film G.O.D.5 as Hai Tien; short scene 'Bull' with Donna Swanson and Adam Dick; credited with song writing and performing (lead vocals and guitar) with my fellow company of actors at ACS to close the show.

The Government Inspector - November 2016

Performed with the company of fellow actors from ACS on November 28th and 29th at The Old Hairdressers Studio, Glasgow. A comedy by Gogol adapted by Mark Westbrook, I played the title role -  Ivan Alexandrovich Khlestakov, The Government Inspector.

Edinburgh Festival Fringe - August 2016

Leftover - a devised work reflecting on the many attitudes towards war and conflict; how the survivors feel and are received in their host nations. I have written a song as part of this production and am playing lead singer and guitarist. Enjoying a comedic role as Hugo, gap year student.

Troika - Exploring the causes and effects of depression, my character Tommy reveals the downside of his success after sharing a musical revelation with Tammy. My stage wife hits a wall of change as my character reaches a turning point.

BASSC - Actor Combatant - Distinction! - May 2016

After intensive training and challenging fight scenes I have received 'distinction' in Rapier / Dagger and have also passed Unarmed combat. I am now a qualified Actor /Combatant.
